Call For Vendors At The Jazz And Soul Festival

May 9, 2013

A message from Sarah Corbett, Vendor Coordinator of the annual Jazz And Soul Festival:

Attention all glassblowers, sculptors, painters and crafts people. A big thank-you to you and all the corporate vendors who have participated over the last six years. Last year was a huge success (2,500+ people per day) and we expect an even bigger and better festival this year. For our seventh consecutive annual event, The Salem Jazz and Soul Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, August 17th-18th, from 11:15am to 7:15pm. This year, our headliner bands include Nicole Nelson (2013 “The Voice” finalist) & Dwight Ritcher, and Turkuaz (Brooklyn based funk and soul). We also have Diane Blue and Toni Washington, Michael Tucker, and Gordon Beadle. It will be a jam-packed weekend for all the family with education tents, a chance to meet all of the musicians, and beer garden. ALL surrounded by FABULOUS views of the ocean at the Salem Willows Park!

Vendor spaces are limited to forty 10×10-foot spaces. For artisans, fees for tent spaces is $75 for one day, or $125 for both days. We are running a 30-day discount until the end of May where the fee for artisans is $60 for one day, and $100 for both days.

For corporate vendors/sponsors, booth spaces are $250 a day, or $400 for both days.

Please no food or beverage vendors.

Visit us at www.salemjazzsoul.org to download an application. Also – and very important – The City of Salem requires all vendors to complete a CORI form for each vendor for their records. Please complete the form that is available . This form is only used for administrative purposes only and should be sent with vendor application form.

We’re a non profit 501c3 organization that has GREAT music for a GREATER cause! Please be a part of our 7th annual Salem Jazz and Soul Festival.

Thank you again for helping us continue to grow.

All my best,
Sarah Corbett
