A number of Beverly artists are among the thousands of people who sell hand-made crafts and other items on Etsy.com – and if you like to shop locally yourself, there might be some great last-minute Christmas gift ideas in here. You know you don’t want to endure another mall visit this holiday season, and there’s probably just enough time left to get a last minute gift in the mail before Christmas. With that, take a look at what some talented city residents have come up with!
LuckyMutt owner (alumna) Jenn Frankavitz ’08 has a variety of custom-made dog collars also takes custom orders. Fun fact: Jenn is actively involved in animal rescue and each collar in her shop is named after a rescue dog in need of a home.
Everything the Sewing Scientist, also known as Sarah Clark, makes, from bow ties to clutches, aims to brighten the world a little and join function with fun. Her shop features items including purses, cluthes, bowties, and headbands.
Zoogu makes original, handmade, high quality plush toys for kids of all ages. Every order is custom made, handmade by Jen and Brian Gubicza in their studio.
Donna Moody has been sewing since she was nine years old, and her specialty on Etsy is American Girl doll clothing. Shoes, hats, bathing suits, dresses–you name it!

Don and Sarah McPhee‘s shop features a variety of necklaces and bracelets. “I love beads,” Sarah said on her page. “The beauty and variety, and I particularly enjoy working with wire and getting lost in the process of bending, twisting and hammering tiny bits of metal.”
