Associate Professor Erin Dionne Releases Second Picture Book
Associate Professor Erin Dionne’s second picture book, Balletball, releases on Tuesday, Feb 25! Erin joined the college’s Liberal Arts department in 2003. She teaches composition and courses in the Creative Writing minor.
The book, published by Charlesbridge publishers and illustrated by Gillian Flint, charts a young girl’s discovery that the wall dividing an activity she loves from a sport that she hates may not be so high nor so real as it once appeared:
Nini loves everything about ballet–the sparkles, the costumes, the twirling! But in the spring there’s only baseball practice. Baseball is nothing like ballet. Or is it?
Balletball can be ordered here, and you can find more about Erin (and her many other published books!) at her website erindionne.com
