Chris Pianka ’11

Chris Pianka ’11 graduated from Montserrat as the school’s first and founding student of the Animation & Interactive Media Department. His internships have included working for Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Daniel Sousa and BlackMath Studios. Currently, he is working as the Animator/Character Designer for Tadapix, an animated marketing company based in Hollywood, CA. Pianka develops advertisement and explainer-video content for various clients, including Flexera, Texas Roadhouse and the web series “Hell Yeah”. He is involved in the design of characters, props and background elements as well as executing the animation of the various assets I design in After Effects. Pianka’s road to becoming an Animator in California began after he was chosen for an incredible opportunity to intern in the library at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. He was one of 30 interns hand-picked from thousands of applicants.
