Alumni News: Bill Fusco’s New Website
Bill graduated from college with a degree in civil engineering and after serving in the U S Army as a First Lieutenant began a career in the construction industry.He subsequently started his own company and was able to retire at an early age allowing him to pursue his life long interest in the arts. He then attended Montserrat College of Art as a full time student. This was a wonderful experience and a life changing decision.
Bill paints using palette knives instead of brushes which creates a painting with vibrant colors and a richly textured surface.The spontaneity and immediacy of this type of painting captures a true sense of place. Plein air painting was a natural choice as it combined his love of nature and the outdoors with his passion for painting
