October 24, 2011

Original artwork from alumnus Adam Miller’s ZombieBomb! Comic Anthology will be on display at Gulu-Gulu Café in downtown Salem through Halloween. Stop by and check out Miller’s undead bodies of work during your travels to the “Halloween Capital of the World.”

“ZombieBomb! is a comic anthology conceived by Adam Miller ’00 and Rich Woodall. The comic features over 200 writers and artists from all over the world who join forces to bring together the baddest bunch of Zombie stories ever assembled. Full color and undead just for you!”

Adam Miller ’00, creative director for Terminal Press, co-created the ZombieBomb! Comic Anthology in 2009 and, with the contributions from several Montserrat alums, the brand has spiraled into a Youtube documentary series, an iPad app, and a spinoff book titled ZombieBomb! Adam’s work is a combination of painting, drawing, photography, and collage. Adam exhibited at the Halcyon and Genuine Artikle galleries, both in NYC. He has appeared on G4TV and is a frequent guest at Comic Cons around the country. His work has been mentioned by Ain’t It Cool NewsFangoria, and MSNBC. Adam occasionally teaches and participates in public speaking engagements at universities and conventions.  New projects include creating books for Nuclear Blast Records recording artists Soilwork and Meshuggah, the western-themed Coffin Hunter for Terminal Press, and art directing the Techno Kitten Adventure comic for Elite Gudz. To this day he counts current and former Montserrat professors Fred Lynch, Haig Demarjian, and Ron DiRito as his biggest artistic inspirations.
