Mel Taing is a Cambodian-American photographer and experimental filmmaker based in Boston, MA. She creates portraiture that expresses the beauty of resilience. Her personal aesthetic is rooted in creating colorful environments that are filmic, dreamy and slightly surreal. Mel Taing’s work has been featured in The Boston Globe, ArtNet, Garage Magazine, edibleBOSTON, and Nylon Magazine.
