Campus Improvements Ahead of New Semester
Montserrat has spent all summer getting ready for an exciting new academic year! Some of those preparations have involves repairs, updates, and beautifications on campus. Keep reading for a sample of some of those campus projects.
First up, Hardie and 301 have both received updated signage. The new sign up at 301 now reflects the presence of the Fabrication Studio inside.
There have been a number of updates in student housing, including new flooring in several apartments and a new hot water heater in the village
A number of spaces on campus received a fresh coat of paint, including the Paul Scott Library, the Underground, and Hardie’s checkerboard.
Work on 9 Dane Street continues apace, its old wraparound porch now fully removed as much of our staff prepares to move into the building this semester.
Accessibility ramps have also been added both inside and out!
And even as the semester gets started there is more to come! This fall we’ll be renovating Montserrat Gallery, which will see updates to its lighting, flooring, and more!
