The Beaux-Arts Ball

The Beaux-Arts Ball was a costume masquerade in Paris art schools begun in the late 19th century.  Faculty, students and models vied for the most inventive, fanciful costumes in the great social cross-over traditions of Carnevale.

We invite you to help us relive this creative artistic tradition!

Costumes or creative cocktail attire welcome

Want to get your look ready for the ball? Join us for a costume making workshop at Montserrat on November 2nd. We will have Montserrat faculty on site to assist with decorating costumes and masks for the occasion.
