Art + Design + Code : Andrew Sliwinski + Sarah Trahan

February 19, 2019

As part of Automatic: An Exploration of Art and Authorship in an Age of Automation join artists Andrew Slwinski + Sarah Trahan for this unique workshop.

Art + Design + Code
March 2, 1:00–4:00pm
Digital Fabrication Studio, 1A Knowlton

Take your first steps towards leveraging the foundations of computing by writing your own code and creating your own media without the bonds of existing software tools. Unlike many “learn to code” workshops which are targeted at computer scientists and engineers, this workshop is designed specifically for artists and designers who want to explore coding for the first time.

In this workshop we will explore novel uses for Electroencephalography (EEG) data as seen in the show Automatic in the 301 Gallery. Control visuals, sounds, and even robotics using brain waves! No previous coding experience required. Please bring your own laptop running the latest version of Google Chrome.

This workshop is limited to 12 participants; to reserve your spot please email: [email protected] now!
