Alumna Arienne Boley’s Work Included in Plein Air Exhibition
Montserrat alumna Arienne Rose Boley (’18) has paintings appearing in the upcoming Stems Plein Air Paint National Exhibition!
The Stems Plein Air Paint is a national juried show. This year the show was offered explicitly as an event to welcome plein air artists whose summer events had been cancelled nationwide. The show is hosted by the Rice Gallery of Fine Art in Overland Park, Kansas.
Two of Arienne’s pieces (Bel Air Plein Air and Litchfield) were selected to be a part of the show. Her work, and the work of all others selected to be a part of the show will be included in an online “digital art opening” that will present each painting via social media and at TheRiceGallery.com.
The show opens on July 31st and runs until August 4th.
More examples of Arienne Boley’s work (including live wedding paintings and work inspired by natural sciences) can be found at her website BoleyStudio.com. Those interested in seeing Arienne’s plein air work specifically can find it here.
