Next Steps

  • Join the Class of 2029 Discord Channel (invite to come from Admissions).
  • Get in touch with your high school guidance office to request that an official, final high school transcript, with graduation date, be emailed to: [email protected] or mailed to: Montserrat Admissions, 23 Essex Street, Beverly, MA 01915 (due June 30). We cannot accept copies directly from students.
  • Get in touch with your primary care doctor’s office to complete your required health forms (due August 4).

May

  • Tuition and housing deposits are due on May 1. All deposits received after May 1 will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis as space remains available. Tuition deposits are non-refundable. If a student defers enrollment, the tuition deposit will hold the space for up to one year and is non-refundable.

June

  • Fill out and submit the New Student Advising Survey, due July 1. Students should refer any questions regarding electives and/or course schedules to Claudia Valenti, Student Academic Advisor at [email protected].
  • Are you feeling nervous about college? Are you excited and want to get a head start? Apply for the (free) Bridge Program by July 1.
  • Student billing statements are mailed and emailed to students by June 15. Students and families should create payment plans and apply for Federal Parent Plus and/or private loans after receiving their billing statement. The deadline to resolve any remaining balance is July 15.
  • Sign the Student Statement of Financial Responsibility (this will be emailed from the Student Financial Services office).
  • If the student does not plan to use the health plan provided by the college, they must complete a health insurance waiver form
  • Submit the New Student Housing Questionnaire, the On-campus Housing Contract, and the Emergency Contact Form (to be emailed by Campus Life). Learn more about on-campus housing and submit any questions to [email protected]
  • Official high school transcripts (with graduation date) are due by June 30 and should be sent directly from the student’s guidance office to the college.

July

August

  • Complete and return your required health forms to Admissions by Monday, August 4.
  • Submit FERPA Waiver form (optional) by Monday, August 4.
  • Start packing
  • Check out all the cool items in your Starter Kit.
  • Contact your new roommate.
  • Move into your new home away from home, by appointment. Campus Life will assign you a check-in time in your housing assignment.
