Articulation Agreements

Montserrat College of Art has several articulation agreements (listed below) with community colleges which guarantee the acceptance of students who earned an Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science from those institutions. Transfer students from these community colleges must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better, plus within their classes, a “C” grade or better to be accepted into the Bachelor of Fine Arts program at Montserrat. We are happy to transfer a maximum of 60 credits towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Courses at these institutions have been carefully vetted for preparedness and relevance for a smooth transition into the rigors of a BFA program. Montserrat College of Art requires that 50% of the coursework is completed in residence; a minimum total of 120 credits must be completed to earn the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.

Considering a transfer to Montserrat and your institution is not listed below? No worries! We are happy to provide a transfer credit evaluation and portfolio review to anyone looking to transfer into Montserrat College of Art and pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. With a transfer credit evaluation you will have a sense of what credits are transferable and what you will need to study once enrolled as a student at Montserrat.
