Articulation Agreements

Montserrat College of Art has several articulation agreements (listed below) with community colleges which guarantees the acceptance of students who earned an Associate of Arts degree or Associate of Science from those institutions. Transfer students from these community colleges must have an overall GPA of 2.5 or better, plus within their classes, a “C” grade or better to be accepted into the Batchelor of Fine Arts program at Montserrat College Of Art. We are happy to transfer a maximum of 60 credits towards a Batchelor of Fine Arts from Montserrat. Courses at these institutions been carefully vetted for preparedness and relevance for a smooth transition into the rigors of BFA. Montserrat College of Art requires that 50% of the coursework is completed in residence; a minimum total of 120 credits must be completed to earn the Batchelor of Fine Arts degree.

Considering a transfer to Montserrat and your institution is not listed bellow? No worries! We are happy to provide a transfer credit evaluation and portfolio review to anyone looking to transfer into Montserrat College of Art and pursue a Batchelor of Fine Arts degree.
