Filing for financial aid
Financial Aid packages, including need-based aid, will begin being issued in January.
- You will be receiving information from our Financial Aid office approximately two weeks from receiving this acceptance packet. Once your FAFSA is received, your package will include any need-based institutional, federal and state awards, grants and loans.
- All applicants are encouraged to file the FAFSA and should do so as soon as possible by going online at studentaid.gov
- For financial aid specific questions, please contact the Student Financial Services Office at ext. 1174 or at [email protected]
Now is the time to apply for financial aid
We encourage you to apply for financial aid as soon as possible to determine your eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid. You need to complete the FREE Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. You may apply after December 1, 2024.
To start the application process, you must first create and secure an FSA ID. This can be done by visiting studentaid.gov. Both you and your parents will need to sign up for a Federal Student Aid username and password.
The priority deadline for filing the FAFSA form is MARCH 1, 2025.
If you need assistance completing your FAFSA, please reach out, and we’d be happy to help. Remember, the earlier you apply, the greater your chances of receiving assistance. The FAFSA form will ask for information reported on your 2023 tax returns.
We will continue to review FAFSA applications after March 1, 2025, however, the amount of funds available to award may decrease over time. Award letters are emailed and mailed out beginning in January. Contact the Student Financial Services office for questions about FAFSA, the filing process, scholarship searches, or financing options.
