The Bear Gallery and the Beverly Historical Society present The Spring Sculpture Show

Beverly, MA, April 25, 2012 — Selected student sculptures will be on display at Hale Farm, 39 Hale Street, beginning with an opening reception on Tuesday, May 15 from 5 - 7 pm. The Society hopes that the Spring Sculpture Show will attract lovers of both art and history, and offer a new way of seeing Beverly’s cultural riches.

Montserrat College of Art Welcomes Gregory Crewdson

Mr. Crewdson will address the Montserrat community on May 25, when 60 students will be awarded their Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees.

Montserrat and Peabody Historical Society Collaborate for Poetry Event

Beverly, MA, March 29, 2012 — Montserrat College of Art and the Peabody Historical Society have collaborated to host a poetry-writing workshop, a bookmaking workshop, and a readings and lecture gala event Wednesday, April 25 at the Smith Barn in Peabody. The event, titled Artifact, Archive, Orchard: The Binding of Past and Present in Poetry, incorporates the three strands of history, poetry and art to celebrate April’s National Poetry Month.
