Companionship, loyalty, decay, violence, compassion, war and retreat are only a few of the situations on view between the Wormbunnies, Birdmen, Mulathons and other populations in Brodell's world. Using charcoal, pencil, graphite powder and acrylic on paper, the artist's skillful rendering assures the works' ability to compell, convince and encourage a willingness in viewers to enter into the unknown and suspend disbelief while absorbed by Brodell's work. |
