Montserrat Student Evaluations

Thursday, January 12th, 2012

Angie Hill ’13 explaining the work she had done over the fall '11 semester to Asst. Prof. Rhoda Rosenberg, Asst. Prof. James Durrett, Prof. Blyth Hazen and Prof. Gabrielle Keller

In addition to class evaluations, students are evaluated by a faculty evaluation panel at the end of the semester where they present an exhibition of their end of the semester’s work. The evaluation and critique is meant to help the student in planning and focusing for the next semester of study.

This past fall semester ended with a mixture of anxiety, excitement and relief as the students prepared for their December evaluations in front of a panel of Montserrat faculty members. The students reflected on their “Aha!” moments they reached during the semester including: self-discovery, what inspired them, perspective growth, what inspires them, etc. The constructive criticism and praise that that students received from the faculty evaluation panel helped the students prepare for next semester!
