Mori Clark Designs Art Throb Cover

Thursday, January 5th, 2012

The cover of the North Shore Art ThrobJan/Feb Street Guide issue was designed by Montserrat College of Art senior Mori Clark ‘12. Mori’s illustration “Starry Gutter” is also featured inside the magazine on page 12.

About the cover: “Winter Mist” was the result of a collaboration with Montserrat’s Editorial Illustration class taught by Greg Orfanos. This issue, celebrating The Essay, features writers from across the North Shore as they explore the theme ‘Art is Where You Find It,’ which was the prompted concept behind both of Mori’s featured pieces.

Though Mori Clark works largely in digital media, she still considers herself a painter at heart. Originally hailing from Akron, OH, she enjoys fondue, cats and music where she can’t understand the words!

Get your copy today! Find the Jan/Feb issue in boxes on the corner of Salem’s Essex and Washington, Salem Train Depot and Beverly’s Cabot Street in front of Atomic Cafe. Art Throb can also be found in shops and restaurants in Salem, Beverly, Marblehead and Lynn.
