Bear Gallery Spring Sculpture Show 2012

Montserrat’s student run Bear Gallery’s Spring Sculpture Show 2012 that will be taking place at the historical John Hale House.

Student sculptures will be on display at the Hale Farm from Tuesday, May 15 through Friday, June 22.

Reception: May 15, 5 – 7 pm
39 Hale Street, Beverly, MA

Spend the evening supporting your fellow classmates and visiting one of Beverly’s richest historical sites! The 1694 John Hale House, home of Beverly’s first minister, is one of the community’s most significant historic structures.

City of Salem ArtBox 2012

Utility to Beauty: The City of Salem calls all artists to submit proposals to paint one out of six downtown utility boxes as part of ArtBox 2012. Winning artists will have their work in front of one million people annually and will receive $500!

Call to Artists: Group Show in Charlestown

Monday, February 6th, 2012

The Artists Group of Charlestown will sponsor Surfaces, a group show juried by Maggie Cavallo, Assistant Curator of Education at Montserrat Galleries and Visiting Artists Program. The exhibit will open Friday, March 30, 6 – 9 pm at the StoveFactory Gallery, 523 Medford St., Charlestown, MA. It will remain on view through April 1.

Surfaces will display work that renders interpretations of tactile adventures and subliminal boundaries.
