Jo Broderick, President of Beverly Rotary

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Jo Broderick, Dean of College Relations, was installed as the President of the Beverly Rotary Club at a ceremonial dinner hosted by the Landmark School on June 28th. Jo follows outgoing President Bradford Gaige, and is only the second woman president in the history of Beverly Rotary.

Addressing the club for the first time as president, Jo talked about carrying forward the legacy of the Club’s good work supporting the community. She also expressed appreciation for her husband Phil and daughters Addie and Page, and of Montserrat and President Steve Immerman for the support that she has received to enable her undertaking this responsibility and that she will need in the coming year to be most successful.

If you wish to congratulate Jo, or would like more information about Beverly Rotary, please contact her at jbroderick@montserrat.edu.

Fundraising Success!

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

Thanks to all of our generous donors in our wonderful community, the college was able to bring in $50,000 in the last few weeks of June to double this amount with an exceptional matching gift from an anonymous donor. That means we add $100,000 to the annual fund at year-end! We are so thankful to members of our community for once again stepping up and showing their support for Montserrat students. All annual fund dollars go toward student scholarship for the 95% of our students who require aid to complete their college educations. Thanks to one and all!
