No. 1016
Paula & Edward Hughes
9-bedroom villa in Todi, Italy Value: $7500
Villa Tre Grazie – one mutually agreed upon week in Summer or Fall of 2010 in a 26 room, nine bedroom, 6.5 bath villa in Todi, Italy, halfway between Rome and Florence. Built in the 16th century, the villa presents a rare opportunity to enjoy a unique baronial manor in the countryside surrounding Todi. Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Tiber valley, with panoramic views of the surrounding hills, including Todi and its magnificent renaissance temple, the Villa Tre Grazie is surrounded by gently rolling land including an olive orchard that produces 200 kg of prime Umbrian olive oil, a fruit orchard, and formal gardens with swimming pool and bath house. The villa must be used in 2010 on a mutually acceptable date. Unavailable weeks include July 4-18; Aug. 8-22; Sept. 11-26 and Thanksgiving week. Last year’s group of 17 went in early October, had a spectacular time and great weather, but there are no guarantees. |
