study abroad

Montserrat College of Art encourages and supports students who want to study abroad in programs offered by us or by other colleges and universities. We believe that Montserrat becomes a stronger institution when our students bring broad and diverse educational and life experiences to class. Our study abroad programs help accomplish these goals.

Beyond Montserrat

Students in their junior or senior year with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 may apply to study abroad in programs offered by other colleges and universities. The Academic Affairs Office, located on the first floor of the Hardie Building, will be happy to get you started in your search for a program that meets your particular needs. Once you've decided on a program, the Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and the Registrar can work with you to ensure a smooth transfer of applicable credits.

Recent study abroad trips include:
Ireland: Burren College of Art
Scotland: Edinburgh College of Art
England: American Intercontinental University (London Campus)
Greece: Hellenic International Studies

The deadline for submission of the Application for Consideration is October 1st for the spring and March 1st for the fall. This is a competitive process.
